With the imminent release of Guild Wars 2 and being an avid WOW player I have been feeling for a while that I need to take a look at anothergame! Guild Wars 2 is being released on the 28 August 2012 so I thought if I was going to start a new game now would be the time, so off I popped to their website to take a look
Right from the start the visuals look impressive with backdrops and spectacular actions scenes, you get to build your character and this a key part of the game, getting to create your own story by choosing what race and class you want to play, and by replying to a number of choices your character takes on all the hallmarks of your thoughts on how you want to look and feel, building up a history and characteristics as you transverse through the game
The social aspect is also another major factor with fully interactive multi-player game play through which all go to enhance your story building, 
and one part I truly am looking forward to is the PVP combat of world-v-world with teams from different servers fighting over some huge maps.
Overall the combat looks good and being able to unlock new skills on a weapon as you fight is a really cool feature combined with blocking and rolling away from an attack – they look to have got it just right. The look and cinematics of this game alone make me want to jump right in and I can honestly say it’s the first time in a long while that I have been tempted to leave my beloved WOW behind and take on a new story in game play
