It’s that time again! Yep, November’s Nerd Block Classic has arrived, now there had been a few hints given out about what the box would contain so on opening I was not hugely surprised by the contents.
So let’s get on with it – first out as always was the t-shirt. The design seems to be a mash-up of Back to the Future and a nightmare before Christmas, now it’s not a bad shirt, but I don’t think it’s a great shirt with the Delorean just sort of plonked in the middle I am going to have to take the middle road on this one I neither hate it nor love it.
Next out is a Titan Sherlock figure, which I had kind of been expecting, the figure itself is that of Sherlock from the Titan Baker Street collection and yes its a Nerd Block Exclusive so this one gets a big thumbs up as it comes with an articulated oversized head plus a pull out of baker street and a really cool magnifying glass.
Onward and upward as they say with a nice Christmas Vacation Griswold Moose Mug which is pretty cool and may just get used over the festive holidays.
Next out the very nicely boxed Firefly Christmas ornament of the ship Serenity which is another Nerd Block exclusive being pretty weighty and well-designed its chrome look is going to look awesome on the Christmas Tree.
Right now, just what you would expect at this time of the year a calendar to plan out all your events for next year, but wait this is not your usual boarding calendar! Oh no, in this one the force is strong because yes you guessed it is based on the new Star Wars Film The Force Awakens, how cool is this not a fan of calendars but this one is Star Wars so yes we like this.
And finally there was a rather odd print of Bill Murray looking like John Wayne I really have no clue what this is all about and really not my cup of tea. In I think it’s absolutely horrible!
Overall nothing really special about this box with the Titan Sherlock being the pick definitely not one of the better boxes I have got from Nerd Block with bits of everything and the more I look at the T shirt the less I like it!
